A Programme for Leaders

Every other programme adds.
This one removes.

Capable leaders carry a structural condition that creates unnecessary drag. Inner Success is a distinct methodology that permanently removes it.

The Training Parachute

An athlete sprinting on a track with a resistance training parachute creating drag behind them

Athletes use training parachutes — small canopies that attach to the body and create resistance while running. They build strength. But you're meant to take them off.

Almost every leader is running with one they don't know is there.

Early in life, you developed a pattern — a way of responding to pressure that helped you perform, achieve, and succeed. It worked. But it's still attached, quietly creating drag on everything you do. You're expending more effort than the task requires, carrying more stress than the situation demands.

This isn't a flaw. It's a near-universal human condition. It only becomes visible at the highest levels of performance, where even small amounts of unnecessary drag make a meaningful difference.

Inner Success doesn't teach you to run harder. It cuts the parachute.

How It Works

Inner Success is a structured, science-based programme of eight modules, tailored to the individual and delivered one-to-one. We measure the drag before we start and again after — so change isn't just felt, it's evidenced.

Removal, Not Addition

Every other programme adds skills, tools, or insights. Inner Success removes the structural condition that creates drag — so everything else works better.

Permanent Change

This is not a coping strategy or a technique to practise. The programme works at the level of neuroscience and physiology to produce a permanent shift — not a temporary one.

Measured Results

We assess the structural condition before and after the programme. Change is quantified, not assumed. Colleagues and teams notice the difference independently.

Proven Methodology

Independently validated across multiple practitioners. Results are consistent regardless of who delivers the programme — because the science works, not the personality.

The Science Behind It

Inner Success draws on multiple disciplines to address the structural condition at its source — not its symptoms.

The programme integrates insights from neuroregulation, memory reconsolidation, interpersonal dynamics, and leadership theory. Each module is tailored to the individual, targeting the specific patterns that create their drag.

The underlying mechanism is well-understood: early experiences create responses that become automatic under pressure. These responses were adaptive once. In a leadership context, they show up as unnecessary reactivity, elevated stress, and effort that exceeds what the situation actually requires.

The programme doesn't manage these responses. It removes the triggers that activate them — permanently.

Eight Tailored Modules

Each programme is structured across eight modules delivered one-to-one. Before the programme begins, we measure the extent and pattern of the structural condition. After completion, we measure again.

This before-and-after data forms part of our growing evidence base — detailed in our research white paper.

Who Experiences This

This isn't about struggling leaders. It's about capable leaders carrying more drag than they need to.

The structural condition Inner Success addresses is near-universal. Almost everyone develops it. It only becomes visible at higher levels of performance — where the margin between good and exceptional is defined by how much unnecessary effort you're spending.

Leaders who do the programme typically recognise these experiences:

  • Performing well — but expending more effort and stress than the situation requires
  • Responding to pressure with patterns you've outgrown but can't seem to switch off
  • Investing in development that helps at the surface but doesn't shift something deeper
  • A sense that something is getting in the way of capability you already have

The Origin

Tara Halliday was originally trained in conditional worth coaching — a discipline rooted in Carl Rogers' foundational psychology. Through her research, she discovered that conditional worth is the root cause of imposter syndrome.

Inner Success was built to address that root cause directly. The result was striking: imposter syndrome was eliminated as a byproduct — not because the programme targeted it, but because it removed the underlying condition driving it.

After years of one-to-one delivery, the far broader leadership impact became clear. The independent coach training programme then proved two things: the results are universal, and they don't depend on the originator.

Remove the interference first.

Then everything else your leaders do becomes more effective.
